Panelist
Three
pastors who have been tending the vineyards of the Lord on the west coast for
decades will talk about their experience of the cultural shifts in which
they’ve ministered. and tell us about the changes that are rolling eastward.
- Joey Lee is the Executive Presbyter for the Presbytery of San José (PCUSA). His previous pastorates include Associate Pastor for English Ministries at the First Chinese Presbyterian Church of New York City and Organizing Pastor for the South Bay Asian American Presbyterian New Church Development in San José.
- Deborah Wright, PneuMatrix principal who was ordained in the 70’s in San Francisco. She is one of the founding principals of PneuMatrix, which helps churches engage their adaptive challenges. She was the first woman to receive a call in San Francisco Presbytery in the late 1970’s. She lives in Sausalito.
- Brian Heron serves as Presbyter for Vision and Mission for Cascades Presbytery (PCUSA) in Oregon. His blog “Holy Breadcrumbs” chronicles his ongoing engagement with the spiritual but not religious community in the Pacific Northwest.
