Steve van Ostran is the executive minister of the American Baptist Churches of the Rocky Mountains. Steve is passionate about empowering local churches and helping them become the incarnated body of Christ in their community, a passion that grows out of his 18 years as a local church pastor. He has an MDiv from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a DMin from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary. We will talk with him about how one of his most recent articles, “Four Incarnational Benefits of Bivocational Ministry,” can validate and encourage the large number of part-time pastors who serve smaller churches.
