Katy Shevel is the author of the book Small but Steady Witness: Big Lessons from Little Churches. She currently serves as associate pastor for congregational life at Wayne Presbyterian in Wayne, PA. Her book is a reflection on the previous five years she spent as solo pastor at Fairmount Presbyterian, a small church in Califon, NJ, focusing on the special strengths smaller churches have for creating a faithful ministry that even large churches would do well to emulate.She received her MDiv and ThM from Princeton Theological Seminary and writes frequently for The Presbyterian Outlook.
