Description
We all know that accountability requires feedback. Delivering a positive feedback message feels relatively easy, but how do we hold a member of our staff team accountable for less than stellar performance? In this TeleWeb we will explore three basic types of feedback conversations: the daily check in conversation, the quarterly goals review, and the annual performance evaluation. You will learn to:
- Establish expectations with a simple five-part dialogue technique
- Avoid the inevitable sidetracks that emerge in a feedback conversation
- Explore the impact of conversational style on feedback effectiveness
- Build in reinforcement messages and follow through loops so that your message is heard
