Risky play is an explorational tool that is utilised in some Early Childhood settings. An often maligned approach, the importance of risky play is one that needs to be considered. Centre based safety is important, but providing stimulating and exploratory opportunities for young children to engage with is an essential developmental skill. This session will provide the opportunity to review, discuss and outline a range of activities for students to engage in, within a safe and secure learning environment.
