Bush Kinder experiences draw students, teachers and educators into natural spaces such as the park, beach or bush. Within these programs, students engage in nature play which benefits the physical health and wellbeing of children, and the development of social skills through interaction and engagement in an alternate setting. It extends on the environmental knowledge of the children. In this session the presenter will delve further into current research and practices, and review current policies around bush kinder. The presenter will also share ideas from their own personal and professional experiences.
