CRTC2145 Health and wellbeing for you and your students

Presenter: Kristy Elliot

Teachers have always been focused on building healthy relationships as an essential component for learning in a classroom environment. Increasingly teachers have been asked to broaden this view to think about student wellbeing as one of the core functions of education. In the post COVID19 environment there is evidence of students and teachers experiencing physical and mental health issues. In these three sessions that comprise a comprehensive program, the presenter will cover strategies that you can implement when next in a classroom with students as well as ideas for looking after yourself and your colleagues. The reflection activities that you will be asked to undertake will encourage you to think about your own wellbeing and the wellbeing of others including students and having ideas ready to implement.
