Description:
This is a short and sharp introduction to the condition of ADHD or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. In this course an experienced teacher and leader responds to key questions that teachers and education staff have about students with ADHD. You can choose to watch a single part of the course; if you choose to engage with all elements of the course then at the conclusion you should have an understanding of the basic elements of ADHD as experienced by a student. The course does not cover teaching strategies for students with ADHD, those ideas can be found in other courses being delivered by the Teacher Learning Network or your union. This course can be considered as a prerequisite for courses on teaching strategies for students with ADHD.
