Description:
Improving the reading skills of our children and students is one of the core skills of teaching and is the responsibility of all teachers, across all year levels and all subjects. As teachers we can always learn new approaches, new strategies and new techniques to add to our repertoire. In this session the presenter will focus on reading comprehension skills using non-fiction texts as examples. The content will be appropriate for those working in both primary and secondary settings.
