Positive psychology, or its derivative, positive education, is increasingly being used across the education community. The techniques and resources promoted in positive education can be an important addition to a teacher's toolkit of strategies to support students' social and emotional development. This session is designed as an introduction to positive education and positive psychology. Positive education works well as a school wide philosophy however individual teachers can also make a significant difference in their own classrooms by using strategies and techniques of positive education. It may also make a difference in your own life outside of the school environment.
