The Financial Literacy three-part course includes:
I. Financial Literacy: The Basics – This course is designed to help
introduce you to financial concepts. First, we discuss the warning signs of
financial abuse. We hope to empower through building skills in budgeting,
banking, and savings. This course can help you understand the core
concepts of financial management.
II. Financial Literacy: Building from Where You Are – This course
will help empower you to take the basic concepts to the next level. We
discuss credit, how to start to build “good” credit, tenant and housing rights,
and college education debt.
III. Financial Literacy: Investing in Your Future – This course is
designed to help you understand more advanced financial skills needed to build
and save for your future. Topics include loans, home ownership, saving
strategies, and investment options.
