The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection recently expanded their Waste Disposal Bans to include textiles. Textiles are defined as bedding, clothing, curtains, fabric, footwear, towels, and similar items. They are now on the list of materials that are banned from disposal or transport for disposal in Massachusetts.
