Given the extent of the funding gap globally in order to meet UHC goals, innovative financing can play a role in complementing domestic resources for health.
This session will give a broad overview of innovative financing, describe its role and limits and provide real-life examples from cancer and other health areas of how innovative financing can be implemented and the
potential impact it can have.
