Module 5: Developing your advocacy plan

This fifth and final module primarily provides an opportunity to properly reflect and consider the learning from the previous four modules and to start creating an outline of what your budget advocacy campaign in your current context may look like.

Webinar 5.1 on 'Budget advocacy in action', the sole webinar in this module, sets out in clear and practical terms the five features that characterise successful budget advocacy campaigns. It outlines in simple steps how to use the learnings and information you have gathered over the previous modules to sketch-out an advocacy campaign tackling the specific health and budget challenges you face.

A downloadable template planning guide provides participants with an easy-to-use guide to sketch out their own budget advocacy campaign following the five features approach - expert feedback during the live session may be available to those able to complete and share their template with the course leaders.

The discussion board activity provides a place for all participants to share a summary of their potential campaign, based on the five features outlined in webinar 5.1.

Finally this Module's live session will provide an opportunity to 'workshop' some of the campaign sketches and ideas shared through the template or via the discussion board, thanks to input and tips by some of the experts that have accompanied you throughout this learning journey.
