Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
  • Produce accurate and useful reports that will help determine appropriate medical therapy in chronic hepatitis.
  • Understand the important histologic features used to diagnose cholestatic liver disease.
  • Understand the criteria for the primary histologic features utilized to diagnose and grade steatohepatitis.
  • Understand the key histologic features useful in the BIOPSY diagnosis of focal nodular hyperplasia, hepatocellular adenoma and well differentiated hepatocellular carcinoma. 

To earn CME and SAM credit, all learners must take a content-based exam and achieve a minimum score of 80%. If learners do not achieve a passing score of 80%, they have the option to retake the exam.
