DESCRIPTION: This course is a pragmatic approach to daily practice issues using didactic and interactive techniques presented by career educators highly respected for their subspecialty expertise.

The United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Physicians can earn a maximum of 18.5  AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ by participating in the CME activities within the 2016 Diagnostic Pathology Update.

The USCAP is approved by the American Board of Pathology (ABP) to offer Self-Assessment credits (SAMs) for the purpose of meeting the ABP requirements for Maintenance of Certification (MOC). Registrants must take and pass the post-test in order to claim SAMs credit.

Physicians can earn a maximum of 18.5 SAM credit hours.

USCAP requires that all planners (Education Committee) in a position to influence or control the content of CME disclose any relevant financial relationship WITH COMMERCIAL INTERESTS which they or their spouse/partner have, or have had, within the past 12 months, which relates to the content of this educational activity and creates a conflict of interest.
