Learning Objectives:
  • Discuss the diagnostic features and differential diagnosis of papillary lesions of the breast
  • Describe the clinical significance of papillary lesions with particular reference to the implications of these diagnoses in needle biopsy specimens
  • Describe the clinical significance of these lesions with particular regard to the indolent behavior of encapsulated papillary and solid papillary carcinomas
