Learning Objectives:
  • Recognize key cytomorphologic features from fine needle aspirates across a spectrum of salivary gland lesions as well as miscellaneous head/neck neoplasms.
  • Highlight diagnostic pitfalls and mimics in cytologic smears from a variety of salivary and non-salivary gland neoplasms.
  • Advise on practical application of immunohistochemical testing and molecular assays using cytology cell blocks.

To earn CME and SAM credit, all learners must take a content-based exam and achieve a minimum score of 80%. If learners do not achieve a passing score of 80%, they have the option to retake the exam.
