Learning Objectives:
  • Recognize and avoid common pitfalls in evaluating small biopsies of minor salivary glands.
  • Apply histomorphologic criteria in developing a differential diagnosis of salivary gland pathology.
  • Apply appropriate ancillary studies (molecular, histochemical, and immuohistochemical) in the evaluation of salivary gland tumors.
