TRID: A Complete Form Analysis

On October 3, 2015, our industry will witness the rollout of the new integrated mortgage closing disclosure, integrating the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) and the Truth in Lending Act (TILA). This session will review each page – and each line – of the new closing disclosure in detail. Settlement agents and attorneys will benefit from a discussion on the impact on the settlement process, the impact on the relationship with the lender, and the impact on the client. All changes will be contextualized in the overall picture of CFPB and TRID, as well as relevant state and local laws having an impact on the use of the new disclosure. The session will also include example scenarios for each page of the new disclosure so that students are acquainted with the implementation of the disclosure. Special thanks to FasTrax for sponsoring this session!
