Dr. Lanny J. Rosenwasser is the Dee Lyons/Missouri Endowed Chair in Pediatric Immunology Research and Professor of Pediatrics, Allergy/Immunology Division, Children’s Mercy Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. He is also Professor of Pediatrics and Medicine at University of Missouri-Kansas City-School of Medicine. For 17 years, Dr. Lanny J. Rosenwasser was the Stephen and Marjorie Raphael Chair in Asthma Research and Professor in the Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology at National Jewish Medical and Research Center in Denver. He was also Professor of Medicine and Immunology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Rosenwasser is Past President of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and he is a former member of the Board of Directors of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He is presently Editor in Chief of the World Allergy Organization Journal and has been an Associate Editor of the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology and has served as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Immunology, Cellular Immunology, Genes and Immunity and the International Archives of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Dr. Rosenwasser has also served as Editor-in-Chief of the Year Book of Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology from 1994-2006. Dr. Rosenwasser has published over 170 original publications as well as invited reviews and book chapters in journals such as New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of Experimental Medicine, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences USA, Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, and American Journal of Respiratory Cell and Molecular Biology and Journal of Clinical Investigation.
