CEU's - 0.55   This 7-module course, followed by a one-hour practice examination, is based on the 2018 International Fire Code (IFC) and 2018 International Building Code (IBC). It teaches the practical application of the IFC and IBC in regards to Hazardous Materials. Each module consists of an integrated video presentation, including presentation slides, explanation, and examples. Modules are designed to be 20 – 55 min. in length. The practice exam must be completed with a passing score of at least 75% in order to finish the course. When taken in conjunction with WC3 Academy’s Fire Plans Examiner course, it will prepare you for the International Code Council’s (ICC) Fire Plans Examiner Exam utilizing the 2018 IFC and IBC. This course can also be taken as a stand-alone course to improve knowledge of hazardous materials, to sharpen plan reviews and field enforcement skills. It also serves as a review for those already familiar with hazardous materials and may serve as an update course for those unfamiliar with the 2018 edition of the codes.
