This 8-module course, followed by a two-hour practice
examination, is based on the 2015 International Residential Code (IRC). It
teaches the practical application of the IRC. Each module consists of an
integrated video presentation, including presentation slides, explanation, examples,
and review quizzes. Modules are designed to be roughly 1 hr. in length. Each of
the 8 practice quizzes, as well as the practice exam must be completed with a
passing score of at least 75% in order to finish the course. This course is
designed to be a complete overview of the IRC and serves as both an exam
preparation course, as well as a review course for code professionals of all
levels of expertise.
CEU's: Completion of this course will result in 1.0 CEU's being awarded by ICC as WC3 is a Preferred Education Provider.

Instructor: George Williams, MCP, CBO serves as both a plans examiner and building inspector for WC3. He has been a building inspector for more than 10 years, has a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, and is an ICC Master Code Professional. George has been instrumental in the start-up of multiple building departments including the adoption of codes, implementation of permit processes, development of policies and procedures, as well as the hiring and training of staff.
