2014 NEC- Commercial Electrical Inspector- Under Construction

This 24-module course, followed by a two-hour practice examination, is based on the 2014 National Electrical Code (NEC). It teaches the practical application of the NEC. Each module consists of an integrated video presentation, including presentation slides, explanation, examples, and review quizzes. Modules are designed to be roughly 1 hr. in length. Each of the 24 practice quizzes, as well as the practice exam must be completed with a passing score of at least 75% in order to finish the course. This course is designed to be a complete overview of the NEC and serves as both an exam preparation course, as well as a review course for code professionals of all levels of expertise.

    Completion of this course will result in 2.4 CEU's being awarded by ICC as WC3 is a Preferred Education Provider.

    Instructor: Doug Smith, MCP, CBO serves as both a plans examiner and building inspector for WC3. He has been an inspector for over 10 years and has more than 18 years of experience in the building safety and construction industries. He has obtained over 18 ICC certifications including Certified Master Code Professional. He specializes in the requirements of the electrical code and is especially knowledgeable on the topic of solar photovoltaic systems.
