8-module course, followed by a 2.5 hour practice examination,
is based on the
2018 International
Building Code (IBC) and the 2009 ICC A117.1, Accessible and Usable Buildings
and Facilities.
It teaches the practical application of ICC A117.1-09 as well as Chapter 11 and Appendix E of the IBC. Each module consists of an integrated
video presentation, including presentation slides, explanation, examples, and
review quizzes. Modules are designed to be 35 – 60 min. in length. Each of the
8 practice quizzes, as well as the practice exam must be completed with a passing score of at least 75% in order to finish the course. This course is designed to be a complete overview of the IBC and A117.1 provisions related to accessibility and serves as both an exam preparation course, as well as a review course for code professionals of all levels of expertise.
