14-module course, followed by a
two-hour practice examination, is based on the 2015 International Fire Code (IFC) and the IFSTA’s Fire Inspection and
Code Enforcement 8th Ed. It teaches the practical application of
the IFC and NFPA 1031. Each module consists of an integrated video
presentation, including presentation slides, explanation, examples, and review
quizzes. Modules are designed to be 15 to 75 minutes in length. Each of the 14 practice quizzes, as well as the practice tests for each module, must be completed with a passing score of at least 75% in order to finish the course and receive a certificate of completion. This course is designed to be an overview of the IFC and IBC and serves as both an exam preparation course, as well as a review course for code professionals of all levels of expertise.
