CEU's - 1.30  This 13-module course is designed to help those planning to obtain an ICC certification as a Permit Technician or as a Zoning Inspector. Code enforcement staff, building inspectors, plans examiners, as well as additional jurisdictional staff, will gain valuable zoning understanding, legal training, and IBC code updates. Instruction in Legal Aspects of Code Enforcement will also assist those preparing for building official certification. Topics to be covered include an overview of the International Zoning Code, legal aspects of code enforcement, and an overview of IBC Chapters 1, 2, 3, 6, and 12.

Each of the 13 practice quizzes, as well as the practice exam, must be completed with a passing score of at least 75% in order to finish the course. This course is designed to be a complete overview of the IBC and serves as both an exam preparation course, as well as a review course for code professionals of all levels of expertise.
