CEU's - 0.80   This 7-module course, followed by a 90-minute practice examination, is based on the 2017 Legal Aspects Code of Administration (LACA), Building Department Administration- 4^th edition, 2015 International Building Code, 2015 International Fire Code, 2015 International Property Maintenance Code, and Human Resources Management for Public and Nonprofit Organizations- 4^th Edition. Each module consists of an integrated video presentation, including presentation slides, explanation, examples, and review quizzes. Modules are designed to be 20-60 min. in length. Each of the 14 practice quizzes, as well as the practice exam must be completed with a passing score of at least 75% in order to finish the course. This course is designed to be an overview of the resources required for the Legal Module of the Certified Building Official exam and serves as an exam preparation course.
