Safety Manuals for Remodelers

In the OSHA Standards it is stated:

“Each employer shall furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which is free from recognized hazards that are causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees”

Construction Business Owners are required by OSHA to develop and implement a safety program to protect their employees. This is typically accomplished by creating a Environmental Health and Safety Manual. A manual includes written plans and procedures designed to guide employers and employees on how to work safe and comply with the OSHA standards. For example an EHS Manual will include written plans for Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Ladders, Personal Protective Equipment, Respiratory, Hazardous Communication, Accident Reporting, First Aid, Evacuation Planning, Fire Protection and Safety Training Protocol.

In this program we will reveal the steps a business owner can take to begin or improve the OSHA compliance process. You will learn the OSHA training requirements and guidelines that employers must comply with prior to exposing employees to hazards on the job site. We will show you where you can obtain valuable information and resources on the OSHA website and provide a list of the sections of a safety manual for residential construction business owners.
