Latinas experience the widest gender-based pay gap of any racial/ethnic minority in the United States. During this webinar, explore what strategies have been effective in advancing equity and how Latinos and allies can advocate together for accelerated progress.

This panel discussion is the third in a three-part webinar series from the Welcoming Environment® Committee, the Women’s Executive Forum™ Program Advisory Group and Association Latinos. The first, Advancing Equal Pay for Yourself and the Field, was March 19; the second, Black Women's Equal Pay: Progress, Problems, and Possibilities, will be held July 29.

This program may be applied for 1 credit toward your CAE application or renewal professional development requirements.

Live webinar participants must attend for a minimum of 45 minutes in order to be eligible for the CEUs associated with this program.

    Josie Hernandez is an Account Executive at Bostrom Corporation where she serves as Executive Director for DONA International. In this role, Josie is responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction, and oversight of all activities and programs for DONA International. She works with DONA International board of directors and staff to ensure the execution of the DONA International mission, vision, and strategic plan.

    Josie is skilled in volunteer management and leadership development; she believes it is vital to the success of an organization to have a pipeline of well-prepared leaders to execute the goals of the organization and maintain long term success. Josie is a strategic thinker who evaluates how structures are interrelated to bring maximum efficiency to an organization. She likes to focus on areas of key member engagement and is an advocate for promoting diversity in the workplace. Josie is a co-founder and current president of Association Latinos NFP whose mission is to advance Latino leadership in associations, and partner with organizations to foster diversity and inclusion efforts. She has been a member of Association Forum for ten years and is the 2023 recipient of the John C Thiel Distinguished Service Award.
