ON-DEMAND: ELECTRONIC MEDICAL RECORDS WEBCAST: ACCESSING DATA IN PERSONAL INJURY CASES

May 14-15, 2020 | Online

Recorded on May 14-15, 2020: Electronic medical records are the key to winning your personal injury case, but can be difficult to obtain and interpret. At this two-day webcast, you will learn how to obtain a complete medical record set, the five federal regulations that every trial attorney must know, and how to use audit trails in trial. Plus, hear an update on the new HHS electronic medical records rule specifying that higher fee rates should not travel to any authorized third party who receives EMRs on behalf of an individual. Faculty include: Shayla M. Reed, Nursine S. Jackson, Jennifer L. Keel, and Jonathan H. Lomurro.

AAJ is not responsible for accrediting or reporting CLE credits for On-Demand programs. Each attorney is responsible for ensuring their state accepts self-application for self-study CLE credits. FAQs on CLE and Education programs can be found HERE.

This on-demand course contains the webcast recordings, full course materials, and agenda from the program as well as a certificate of attendance for attendees to use when applying for self-study MCLE credit. Maximum of 370 general CLE minutes available in this course.
