Availability During Learning

Session will begin with housekeeping and introductions. Presenter will deliver the presentation for 1 hour, followed by .25-.5 hours time for Q & A.

Presenter will offer guidance for increasing a student's availability for learning. Attendees will learn methods for modifying the student's physical environment or setting, adjusting positioning, altering communication modes or adaptation of materials. Attendees will learn that the goal of intervention is to increase the student’s availability for learning through development of meaningful, student-centered recommendations for intervention.
