Registration

How do I register?
To learn about the registration options and to register for ATIA 2024 please visit the ATIA 2024 registration page.

Is there a free virtual option?
Yes! We are so excited to offer 30+ virtual sessions through our Virtual Event Free Bundle. You must register online to have access to these sessions. You can watch some of the sessions live or view the recorded sessions following the conference. CEUs are included too!

Who is the Free Virtual Event Bundle for?
Everyone! From a seasoned practitioner to a graduate student to a parent, there's a range of high-quality sessions available.

How do I find out what I have purchased?
Once logged into your Learning Center profile, click on your name in the upper right hand corner of this page. Under the "My Activity" tab you will be able to see all of your purchased content in the Learning Center, including the Virtual Event.

Can I register for the Virtual Event after it has started?
Yes, you can register for the full Virtual Event or the free bundle at any time through April 30, 2024. If you have missed any of the live content, you will have access to all session recordings included. Session recordings will be added by mid-February, after sessions have taken place in Orlando at ATIA 2024.

All CEUs for the ATIA 2024 Virtual Event must be claimed by April 30, 2024.

How do I find out what CEU types are available for a session?
The qualifying CEU types are listed in each session description. In addition, you can search Virtual Event sessions by CEU availability on the CEU Information page linked above and below.

How do I obtain my CEUs?
CEUs can only be claimed once you have attended a live session or viewed a recorded session. For full information on CEUs including complete information on how to obtain credits, visit the CEU information page.

How do I view all of the certificates I have earned?
Click on your name in the upper right hand corner of your screen. This will take you to your profile. Once in your profile, click on the Certificates tab. All of your certificates will be listed here. You will be able to view and download the certificates.

Educational Content and Schedule

How do I find out which sessions will be live streamed and which are recorded sessions for the full paid Virtual Event?
Refer to the live stream session listings on the Virtual Event homepage here. Additional sessions that will be recorded at ATIA 2024 in Orlando are listed here. All session recordings will be posted by mid-February, after ATIA 2024 takes place.

How do I watch a live session?
To watch a live session, click on the session title on the designated date and time it is to be held. You will be directed to the live event page listing. If you see a blue Register button on the event page, click it. You will then be promoted to Join the Event and connect to the Zoom Meeting or Zoom Webinar room.

How do I watch a recorded session?
To watch a recorded session, select the session title to be directed to the session's overview page. Scroll to the bottom of page to view to contents of the session. Click on the session title with a purple camera icon to view the recording.

When will the recordings of the live sessions become available?
A selection of member recordings will be available to watch in advance of ATIA 2024. Session recordings available will be noted with a Recording posted icon next to the session title on the Virtual Event homepage when posted. Most sessions are being recorded live in Orlando at ATIA 2024 and take time to be processed, captioned and posted. Session recordings will be added as they are available, with all recordings posted by mid-February.

Can I attend the Exhibit Hall virtually?
No, we are not offering the ability to attend the Exhibit Hall virtually.

What do the codes mean on every session?
In front of each session is a unique code. Example: AAC-01. Below is a breakdown of how we developed our code system.
  • AAC: Augmentative and Alternative Communication Strand
  • AGAT: Aging & AT Strand
  • ATPAP: Assistive Technology for Physical Access & Participation Strand
  • EDU: Education & Learning Strand
  • MAT: Mainstream Accessible Technologies Strand
  • TWA: Transition & Workplace Accessibility Strand
  • VHT: Vision & Hearing Technologies Strand

Will there be a Q&A with the speakers after a session? How do I ask a question in a live-streamed session?
Most live session speakers will leave time at the end of their sessions for Q&A. To ask questions, type them into the chat section or the Q&A section (if available) in the Zoom room.

Can I chat with a specific attendee or speaker?
Live-streamed sessions will be held in Zoom Meeting. As an attendee, you will have access to the chat feature to engage with the speaker and other attendees.

If I watch a recording of a session, will I be able to hear the Q&A?
Yes, the recordings will include the Q&A portion of the session.

How long will I have access to the recorded content?
Content will be available for access until April 30, 2024.

How do I network at the Virtual Event?
The best way to meet fellow attendees is by attending the live sessions and using the chat function. This is one of the benefits of our virtual event! Start by saying who you are, where you're from, and what you're excited about. We have the friendliest attendees, and you're sure to meet someone new.

Help Navigator

You can get help/assistance prior to the live event by emailing ATIA at conference@atia.org. During the live event, ATIA Staff will be in each of the Zoom rooms should you have questions. Additionally, the help navigator button will lead you to a live interactive chat bot to connect directly with ATIA staff if we're available.

System Information

I am having issues logging into the ATIA Learning Center.
You can reset your password by clicking on "Forgot password?" on the Learning Center login page. If it keeps leading you back to this page, you need to accept cookies within your browser for this page. Alternately, try another browser and accept cookies. Contact us at conference@atia.org if you continue to have issues.

What platform are you using for the live sessions?
All ATIA 2024 live-streamed sessions will be hosted in the Zoom platform. For details on Zoom, including links to test device compatibility, go to the Zoom Help Center.

I am in a live session but am having problems. What do I do?
Let ATIA Staff know what's going on via the Zoom chat or contact us at conference@atia.org. Remember, if your internet suddenly becomes unstable or you get interrupted, you can always view the recorded session after the event.

Accessibility

The ATIA 2024 Virtual Event has been built with accessibility as a priority. Our platforms have all been tested and meet WCAG standards. Our sessions will be captioned. If for any reason, you find a portion of your experience is not accessible, please let us know immediately at conference@atia.org.

Policies

Code of Conduct and Etiquette Policy
ATIA 2024 is a broad-based event with a diverse and broad community. We respect each other and treat each other with respect, dignity and professionalism.

ATIA has a ZERO Tolerance policy for any of the following behavior and will result in immediate removal from any session and possibly removal from our online platform:
  • Discrimination or harassment on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, or any other form of harassment or bullying online both publicly or privately.
  • Public Profanity
If an attendee has any experience of being harassed publicly or privately, we suggest copying text of the offender and reporting immediately to ATIA staff either through our help desk or email.

In addition, participants are asked to adhere to the following rules:
  • The recording and/or transmission of education sessions in any format is strictly prohibited.
  • Participants should not reproduce or repurpose presentation materials in any way without express consent from the presenter or affiliated organization.
  • Participants should not record, copy, or take screenshots of Q&A or any chat room activity that takes place in the virtual conference.

ATIA reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary and appropriate, including immediate removal from the event without warning or refund, in response to any incident of unacceptable behavior. There will be no refunds for anyone who violates our policies.
