Overview

Are you looking to increase learning and engagement among students when using your Picture Communication Symbol (PCS) materials and Boardmaker activities? Throughout this make and take course, discuss the research and benefits for movement-based tasks to increase engagement and motivation during learning. We will construct five hands-on materials to implement interactive and accessible ideas when using symbols and tactile elements. Don't let your symbols stay flat on the paper throughout learning, communication, and play, bring them to life with this make and take course.

Content Disclosure: This presentation will focus exclusively on Boardmaker and will not include information on other similar or related symbol-based editing software.
