Overview

Acapela Group is a text-to-speech company (fully owned by Tobii Dynavox AB Publ) with more than 30 years of experience in the speech industry. 'My-own-voice’ is a service developed by Acapela Group to re-create voices that may have otherwise been lost to disease. More than 5,000 users per year take advantage of the service to create a copy of their digital voice in one of the 23 languages offered. The digital voice can be used in multiple applications/products. The presentation will focus on my-own-voice v4. We will cover all the aspects of a voice banking journey for a user.

Content Disclosure: Acapela Group (fully owned by Tobii Dynavox AB (Publ)) has developed a voice banking cutting-edge service available of 23 languages under the name my-own-voice (MOV), https://mov.acapela-group.com/. Because there are no other like-kind products available, course offerings will only cover information that pertains to the effective and safe use of the above-named products. This presentation will focus exclusively on my-own-voice version 4 and will not include information on other similar or related voice banking service.

Biography

Nicolas Mazars is in charge of the Inclusive Market Owner and business development department at Acapela Group. Part of the projects and developments are dedicated to inclusiveness including the specific focus on speech impairments, learning disabilities, visual impairments and meeting the needs of seniors. Acapela Group aims to provide everyone, whatever their disability or impairment, with a voice, to help them live more independently through easy access to technology. Our goal is to grow the operations in each actual areas and beyond. Nicolas Mazars has been involved in the my-own-voice development service from scratch.
