Interviews for graduate admissions are often considered by programs but are then dismissed due to perceived effort, subjectivity, judgement, bias, and resources/cost required. However, there are multiple ways to use interviews to achieve goals of recruitment and enrollment in your institution.

The purpose of this webinar is to present actual interview formats being used by three different programs in order to illustrate the feasibility of incorporating interviews in your admissions process. This webinar is part two following Graduate Admissions Interviews 101 which is presented on Wednesday, October 4, 2023.

Learning Objectives
  • Explain the role of interviews in graduate admissions.
  • Identify procedures of implementing interviews in holistic, inclusive, equitable ways.
