This course aims to enrich your spiritual life with reflections from three great teachers of the Faith: St. Teresa, of Avila, St. Francis de Sales, and Pope Benedict XVI.

This online independent study course will provide a survey of two classics in the spiritual life: the Interior Castle and the Introduction to the Devout Life. In addition, students will be introduced to meditations on liturgical feasts and everyday life developed by Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger (Benedict XVI). Those who complete this course should be able to describe the interior life in terms of the seven mansions of St. Teresa, summarize the devout life as outlined by St. Francis de Sales, and more readily seek the deeper truths that everyday events can unfold for one’s spiritual life.
