Vatican II: The Constitution on the Church in the Modern World
The Second Vatican Council (1962-1965) was the major event in the Church in the twentieth century. It is also perhaps the most misunderstood event as well. This course will examine Vatican II’s Constitution on the Church in the Modern World. This document deals with the way in which the Church carries the mission of Christ to the world. Students who complete this course should be able to better understand and exercise the mission given to them by reason of their Baptism.
