Contributors

  • Shawn Faulkner, CSI, ACT #1519. Architect & Design Manager

Shawn Faulkner isn’t a newbie in the paints and coatings industry. After graduating college in 2011 with a degree in Marketing and Advertising, he started his career in the paints and coatings industry. In 2016, he started with PPG as a sales representative and quickly moved up to become a Field Sales Trainer. Shawn was honored as the Top Sales Rep USA and Canada in the 1st Quarter of 2018. This momentum helped him secure his current position as Architectural Specification Design Manager. He focuses on helping architects and designers learn about the paints and coatings that could benefit their current and future projects. He advises less seasoned professionals to learn as much as they can about the products and industry they represent and be honest about them. The best mentors are those who have been in this industry the longest and have the most product knowledge; from both a technical and realistic product approach. Always keep learning about current and upcoming products and the technology behind them. In his downtime, he is a devoted husband and father of two, an avid runner, and home brewer of craft beer.
