About This Program
This course will explore the ways that today’s door and gate operators are engineered to work with access control devices to provide safe and secure access to a property, or building. You’ll learn how UL 325 and ASTM F2200 are designed to protect pedestrians from being injured when using automated systems to gain access to commercial properties and buildings. You’ll have a better understanding of the differences between the various styles of commercial door and gate operators, and when to use a particular type in a given application.
