Description
About This Program
This course will explore the ways that today’s door and gate operators are engineered to work with access control devices to provide safe and secure access to a property, or building. You’ll learn how UL 325 and ASTM F2200 are designed to protect pedestrians from being injured when using automated systems to gain access to commercial properties and buildings. You’ll have a better understanding of the differences between the various styles of commercial door and gate operators, and when to use a particular type in a given application. We will compare the performance of a standard duty operator over a heavy duty or industrial duty operators.
