About This Program

To educate architects, specifiers & designers on the new ANSI/AWI Casework Standards. There are now laboratory tested manufacturing methods and materials to prove the structural performance of the casework being specified. This new standard also allows for proprietary manufacturing methods to be performance tested and specified while giving scientific validation & accountability to the woodworking industry as a whole.

    Greg Parham, Vice President of Compliance at AWI, oversees the Quality Certification Program and the AWI National Testing Center. He has over 37 years in the woodworking industry. His experience spans a variety woodworking industries including office furniture, cabinetry, ownership of a custom woodworking business, and operations management in the store fixture and architectural millwork industry. He has been with AWI for 13 years. Joining the AWI Quality Certification Program as an independent QCP Representative performing inspections in the Northwest, then became a full-time staff member as Inspections Manager in 2012 and advancing into his present position in 2021.
