Door Hardware 2: Locks, Latches & Door Hardware

In this course you will learn:
This manual presents a logical process for selling locks in a showroom. Locks in a decorative plumbing and hardware showroom refer to mechanisms inside a door as well as the door knobs, levers, handle sets, and other pieces of hardware outside of the door that open, close, and/or secure a door. We start with different types of exterior doors lock options followed by the steps needed to match those locks to different types of exterior doors typically found in homes. The manual then moves from exterior to interior, describing the types of interior locks that are sold in showrooms and common lock applications on interior doors in a home.
