Description
"Let's Talk Grief" is an engaging and interactive course designed to
facilitate open conversations about normalizing the grief experience.
Participants will gain insights into understanding grief and
bereavement, navigating the spectrum of emotions inherent in the
grieving process, and overcoming the common fears associated with
expressing condolences.
The course employs a variety of interactive
methods, including group discussions, case studies, and role playing
exercises. Participants can share personal insights and engage in
practical scenarios to reinforce their understanding of the course
content.
Objectives:
1. Participants will understand the difference between grief and bereavement.
2.Participants will identify the range of emotions one may experience through the grief process.
3. Participants will explore what to say (and not) say to the those in grief.
4. Participants will learn coping mechanisms and healthy ways to navigate the complexities of grief.
