when the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) become operational in April 2017, there were 16 states processing applications, with 40 applications received and three licenses issued. To date, more than 20,000 applications have been processed and more than 30,000 licenses issued using the IMLC — which now has 37 member jurisdictions, including 35 states, the District of Columbia and the territory of Guam. This poster examines recent trends in IMLC growth.
