Mindfulness & Mentoring: Elevating Your Mental Health & Increasing Productivity

On Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 12:00 - 1:00PM EST, we'll conduct a one-hour exploration of the nexus of mindfulness and mentoring that will help lay the groundwork to get you there.   

In this interactive workshop, you will:
  • Outline research on burnout and other stress related issues lawyers face
  • Identify facts surrounding “the stress response”
  • Discover how mindfulness can decrease distraction and increase productivity
  • Examine how mindfulness can make us better listeners
  • Explore different ways to let go of judgment and create stronger bonds with others

  • Tips for increasing focus and productivity
  • Tools for stress and anxiety management
  • Practical mindfulness practices you can incorporate into your day
  • Guidelines for participating in successful mentoring relationships

This program will last for one hour. It will include some lecture, experiential exercises, and the opportunity to ask questions and engage with the presenter. At the conclusion, you will have fostered new skills you can implement right away, and add some more tools to your attorney toolbox!
