Deep Dive on the Automated Fuel Dispenser (AFD) EMV Liability Shift

This webinar provided an in-depth review of the EMV Liability Shift for Petroleum merchants, including callouts on fallback transactions, PIN bypass, and exceptions to liability shift dates. The presenters walked through the various factors that impact liability for both counterfeit and lost & stolen transactions.
The presentation also included strategies for minimizing fraud at the AFD, as well as various resources available as you prepare for EMV and the pending liability shift.

In addition, she advocates on behalf of the convenience industry at EMVCo, the US Payments Forum (formerly the EMV Migration Forum) Petroleum Working Group, and the National Conference on Weights and Measures. Linda also participates inthe World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), ANSI X9 subcommittees working on payments, and is the facilitator for the Petroleum SIG at the Merchant Advisory Group (MAG).
