Also, Kroger will discuss their ACH use case and the decision to offer ACH as a payment option for consumers. Kroger will share the questions they had going into this project.

  • Nancy Morgan | Sr. Manager of Enterprise Payments - The Kroger Co.

    Nancy is responsible for managing all forms of card payment acceptance and related costs, including budgeting and financial analysis of corporate programs related to payment acceptance. She works with EFT networks, card brands, acquirers and specializes in card strategy implementation projects. Nancy
    joined the Kroger Enterprise Payments team in 2016 after transitioning from her position with Harris
    Teeter, a 2014 addition to Kroger’s family of Companies. She joined Harris Teeter in 2000, starting as
    Senior Manager of Cash Management and was promoted to Director of Treasury Management Services
    in 2005. She led various accounting teams at Harris Teeter including payment acceptance management,
    bank reconciliation, sales audit, check recovery, sales & use taxes, lease accounting, joint venture
    investments, accounts receivable, fixed assets and payroll.

    Nancy has been in retail accounting for most of her career. Prior to joining Harris Teeter, she was with
    Family Dollar Stores and Winn Dixie with a few years of public accounting work in between. She has
    been a certified public accountant in the state of North Carolina since 1998. Throughout her career, she
    has been active with NC Treasury Management Association, serving as an officer for several years. She
    continues to be active with FMI, Merchant Advisory Group (MAG), US Payments Forum and various
    advisory councils with the Federal Reserve Bank.

  • Luis Guzman | Senior Director, Business and Product Development - Nacha

    Luis is the Senior Director of Business and Product Development at Nacha where he works with industry stakeholders to make ACH easier and grow beyond ACH. Leads business and product innovation efforts for Nacha Consulting.

    Prior to joining Nacha, Luis was a Director of Business Development for FIS’ Digital Solutions Group. Specializing in EBPP partnerships that contributed to an enhanced user experience while generating revenue for the division. Luis has over 20 years of experience in digital payments and held senior level positions in payment operations and business development.

  • Amy Morris | Senior Director of ACH Network Rules - Nacha

    Amy Morris is a Senior Director of ACH Network Rules at Nacha, where she leads and participates in multiple working groups that address issues in the payments industry. In addition to collaborating with industry participants on changes to operating Rules, she also assists in educational activities and provides rule and operational guidance. Amy has over twenty years of experience in the financial services industry, specialized in electronic payments, previously working at Navy Federal Credit Union, FIS, and Visa.
