In this session, we will focus on understanding the most common ways that criminals are currently misusing and abusing gift cards and what you as a retailer can do to tell fraudulent usersĀ  apart from legitimate users to protect your customers and brand. Ranging from scams to outright thievery, gift cards have become a favorite of modern day criminals for a multitude of reasons both online and in store. Whether you represent a retailer selling other brands or work directly with your own first party branded products, understanding these methods of attack and what you can do to prevent it is a crucial first step to protecting your customers and your brand.
