Join us for a comprehensive overview of the current state of abortion access both locally and nationally. This session will review how the decision to overturn Roe v. Wade has contributed to unequal access to reproductive health care. We will review resources for patients and some of the legal and ethical considerations confronting California physicians. We will also learn how Planned Parenthood Northern California is offering support and resources to navigate this new landscape.

- Understand the state of abortion access in California, including existing laws, regulations, and services available and how they compare nationally.
- Understand the impact of varying abortion access levels on patient care.
- Understand available patient support resources, such as counseling, legal aid, and organizations that offer assistance to patients seeking abortion care.
- Understand the ethical considerations physicians face when providing abortion care.
